Is the Lap button really that important?

Pros: Familiar format

Cons: Is the Lap button so important it needs to be on the front?

I would like this watch much more if they would make the Lap button a little harder to hit.
The Stop button is now on the side of the watch making it a ergonomic nightmare to hit when crossing a finish line. You'll have no trouble hitting the Lap button and getting that annoying flashing readout.
