A surprisingly much-better-than-ordinary watch

by   djmitchell ,  Jan 10, 2004
Pros: Stylish appearance, neat customizable settings, great strap, Indiglo features, 100-metre water resistance, large numbers
Cons: Indiglo night mode stops automatically after 8 hours
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this watch to anyone because you're getting a surprising amount of features and excellent quality without breaking the bank!
Review: My prior taste in watches was quite expensive, but I wanted my next and subsequent watches to be much cheaper. This was just a reflection of a desire to simplify things in my life overall. In fact, I was looking for the cheapest watch I could find that ...

GREAT WATCH

by   unicorn777111 ,  Oct 24, 2005
Pros: See above
Cons: The watch outlasts the watchband
Review: I've had this watch for several years....I dive quite a bit so it's been through the shredder and still going!! All the features still work. I use it as my alarm clock...I use the count down timer to remind me to check on things at work....and I use the ...

it keeps GOING and GOING and GOING and GOING and

by   chinafrog ,  Jan 2, 2006
Pros: indiglo!
Cons: velcro band a bit flimsy, button labels fading
The Bottom Line: great watch
Review: When I was a senior in high school, my friend gave me this watch as a graduation gift. That was back in 1999 and I still use this watch every day. It simply refuses to die! I am a big fan of digital watches. I guess I just never got the concept of "big ...

Good Watch - Lousy Band

by   nokondi ,  Oct 23, 2006
Pros: Nice display, easy to use
Cons: The band keeps on breaking and is horribly expensive to keep replacing every few months.
Review: Watch is great, but band keeps breaking after 3 or 4 months. I am on my 3rd band now, and at $12 each, I now have more invested in the bands than in the watch. It is a unique design, so a generic band will not fit. My cost of ownership per month is ...

Is the Lap button really that important?

by   love2run ,  Dec 26, 2005
Pros: Familiar format
Cons: Is the Lap button so important it needs to be on the front?
Review: I would like this watch much more if they would make the Lap button a little harder to hit. The Stop button is now on the side of the watch making it a ergonomic nightmare to hit when crossing a finish line. You'll have no trouble hitting the Lap ...

IRONMAN..made out of plastic?!?!?!

by   soonerfannmbr1 ,  Sep 12, 2007
Pros: Functions and ease of use.
Cons: DURABILITY, DURABILITY, DURABILITY
Review: I have owned at least 4 Ironmans over the several decades, but I am reviewing the 2 most recent. My 6 year old son pulled on the watch and the pin holding the band on "dug a channel" on the body of the watch rendering the watch unwearable. Even if you ...
