You would not believe where the path of thought can bring you!

First, before you start, I beg you to be very careful with Friederich Nietzsche. There has been lots of misunderstanding-the most notorious and shameful--Nazi Germany, taking Nietzsche's philosophy and "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" in particular as a way of life and then literally start practicing Zaratustra's ideas like "see a weak person--push him" in real life. Be careful please. As in the example of the Nazi Germany and "pushing the weak" in particular there is also a vivid indication between the lines, that Zarathustra "pushed his enemies in the abyss of his moral and ethic knowledge" as he himself reveals later. So there are many misunderstandings like that in this exact book.
Be patient, you will be rewarded with answers you are looking for. The two boys of Columbine high school took a couple of Nietzsche books to read during the leisure time and came to some horrible conclusions. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold made a very false assumption that this world is premises of the fittest, that only predators can exist here--Zaratustra had a notion of the fittest, but his predators are always ethical and spiritual gurus who overcome the vile and filth by the effort of their spirit and soul. That is how I saw the teachings of the Asian Sage by name of Zarathustra.
I personally believe that precise understanding of this particular work of Nietzsche can drive a person crazy-isn't that what's happened to the philosopher himself? But here comes another aspect right away-even if you are not so much affected by the great and deep philosophical thought, you will enjoy the language for sure. Nietzsche is great philosopher not just because he had something to say, but also because he knew how to say, how to find a path to a mind of an enlightened personality. By the way-the great German philosopher taught German language and from the very beginning was a linguist first as he himself said.
"Thus Spoke Zarathustra" always reminded me of some sort of a religious writing. And indeed there is something religious in there. If you are familiar with this particular masterpiece, what do you think? All those miracles and wonders that happen to Zarathustra, does it remind you of Christ and The Bible or is it just me. But still there is one thing…if I am not mistaken, Zarathustra was an actual prophet, and there is a branch of religion named after his name.
There is one more thing-do not be scared if you are reading the book for the first time and coming across something very overwhelming and grim, say, like statement that The God almighty is long dead and we just keep on living without noticing The great absence. If you take those kind of statements literally, without giving them any other thought (it may take day or year) then…you are no better than Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold.
