A surprise...It is GREAT

Pros: Old but new...Fun to listen to all the time

Cons: Not every single song is great...But the great songs make up for it!

This CD is a collection of Dolly Parton's favorite songs from the 60s and 70s. I am a huge Dolly fan, but was born in the 70s, so I didn't think I would love this cd.

I was on my way to see her in concert December 3rd, when I pulled in to the local Kmart and purchased the cd for the ride.

I really liked it and the more I listen to it - I like it even more.

It has songs that I have never heard like Those Were the Days (which I absolutely love and sing to my baby now) and Where Have All the Flowers Gone (which is beautiful and a perfect Dolly song). Then it also has songs like Me and Bobby McGee, Turn, Turn, Turn, Crimson and Clover and Imagine that are great songs and it is fun to hear her version.

One other bonus that I LOVE is the song are numbered and named actually on the cd!

I am very pleasantly surprised at how much I like this CD, but remember I may be partial since I love Dolly so much!
