Almost Perfect

Updated Version.
I've received several e-mails requesting more information on this title so here it goes.
In case you haven't noticed, episode 7F06 (Bart the Daredevil) has a slightly shorter ending scene when Homer falls down Springfield Gorge the second time than when originally aired back in 1990. His second fall on the stretcher was longer, bloodier, and much FUNNIER yet it was needlessly deleted. Don't believe me? Look through your old off-the-air taped copies of the show you made on your new $500 VCR back in 1990 and check it out. This was done in order for the boxset to get a "PG" rating in the UK. My favourite episodes of this season are:
Bart Gets an F.
Bart v. Thanksgiving.
Bart Gets Hit by a Car.
The Way We Was.
Homer v. Lisa and The Eight Commandment.
Principal Charming.
Oh Brother Where Art Thou?.
Brush with Greatness.
Three Men and a Comic Book.
This season tends to focus on Bart's antics then shift to Homer. Only one episode is devoted to Marge (Brush with Greatness) and two to Lisa (Lisa's Substitute, Homer v. Lisa and the 8th Commandment) thus there is not that great balance as in later seasons. The funny factor is not alway there. Some of these episodes deal with more serious issues like the environment (Two Cars In Every Garage And Three Eyes On Every Fish) and old age (Old Money). Though not as funny, some of these episodes have charm in their respective issues, most notably the ending of Old Money. The animation is a bit quirky but it's getting there.
This set has quite a few Extras including an interview with James L. Brooks and Matt Groening, "Do the Bartman" and "Deep Deep Trouble" music videos, Foreign Language clips, and some early sketches.
