A must have for all die hard fans like me.

What can i say, this is a must have if you are a die hard fan. The picture has a much improved clarity, a lot sharper, and a lot less scribbled. The sound has been much improved into Dolby Surround 5.1.

All of the episodes in season 1 can be accessed in under 30 seconds, unlike my old Simpsons VHS tape collection, where i was there trying to find the tape, fast forwarding and rewinding tapes and finally after 10 minutes, you have the episode. This is one of the biggest advantages of the DVD collection.

I like to watch my DVDs with Subtitles on, so naturally i enjoy my Simpsons with captions.

I like the big size 4:3 TV format, so it is a good thing that the whole DVD collection is in that size.

In the early days, the show was drawn in a rougher manner. The expressions the Simpson family show in this season are not seen in the later seasons.

The extra and special features are nothing to brag about. There are only a few things there. A documentary would have been good.

It cost me $75 to buy, which was the lowest price i could find. That is in Australian (G'Day mate!) currency, so it would cost about $38 US dollars.
