Season One: The Beginning Of The Simpsons Reign

The Simpsons finally made it onto DVD as a box set! HOORAY! The family which originally started as just an extra on the Tracy Ullman show give it their all in this first season three disc box set. The DVD has all thirteen episodes from the first season and it has some special features to boot. The episodes include 'Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire' in which Homer loses his Christmas bonus and has to find a way to get Christmas presents for his family, 'Bart The Genius' in which Bart switches his intelligence test with the class nerd's and is sent to a new school where he learns that he had it better where he was originally, 'The Call Of The Simpsons' in which Homer becomes jealous of his neighbor's RV and gets a cheap one to take his family camping, and so many more! The special features on disc three include deleted scenes for some of the episodes, animated music videos in which Bart sings, artwork, and the original shorts from the Tracy Ullman show! The animation was a bit rough seeing as how this is the first season, and some of the voices sound a bit strained, but other than that, Matt Groening's masterpiece comes to life in this brilliant three disc special edition box set and is a must have for any fan of the Simpsons!
