Move over Drew! Here comes FALCO!!!

This movie is the best! I watched it three times in a row! I am not kidding! I couldn't get enough of it. There wasn't anything about this movie that I didn't love!

He was so relaxed in this role. Not since "A walk in the Clouds", have I seen him so at ease with his acting. You would think it was just a walk in the park (or clouds LOL) for him. I have never seen him act so naturally. He made the corney parts serious and the funny parts funnier. The way he worked this character, you would think he had been building for this his whole career. It was beautiful. Does anyone know if his dream in life is to be an NFL pro? He just pulled all the right plugs and drew us in. There were parts of this movie that I was expecting to be corney, but he pulled it off with class and kept the rhythm of the beat. It was almost like he took a backseat to the rest of the cast in order to shine.

Who is that girl?
I don't know her name, I am sure I will after I submit this, but she is awesome. What a spotlight actress! She has a way about her, shy and yet bold. She steals the screen everytime she enters the spotlight. She doesn't overact, no, it is just right. The chemistry between her and Shane Falco is perfect.

The Plot
Even if your not a football fan, you will love this film. This is an action packed flick with drama and comedy. You are drawn in from the first moment and kept attentive throughout. The cast is a mix of straight man and slapstick comedians. They go together like peanut butter and jelly. The way the writers bring the team together is genius. It is just short of corney, but saved from that fate by the excellent acting skills of the cast.

The football plays in the movie are very realistic. I found myself screaming for the hometeam near the end. I couldn't help myself. I was so into it. I felt like I was watching a real football game. I just wish that my team (Patriots) could pull something like that off! Maybe they should put Bishop in more often.

In between great football scenes, there is a romance. There is also an underlying plot of the other team-mates needs. Everyone has a stake in playing as a replacement member. None of the team members are unappealing. I fell in love with the plot, the actors and the way this concept was carried off.

I will rent this again. I may even purchase it! I hope I was able to convey in this opinion just how happy I was to see this movie. There is something for everyone in this film. If you don't like football, watch it for the storyline. RENT THIS! IT IS MORE THAN WORTH THE MULA!!!!
