Yes, there is a Santa Claus !

I love the Christmas season and all it offers !
I love reading various books to my kids with a "holiday" them, I love playing Christmas music, I love to bake for the neighbors.
I just love the glitz and wonderment of it all.

This year in particular I've loved watching my three year old and all the wonder in his eyes !

In the quest for another holiday book, I came across The Polar Express.
Now we read it almost nightly and I think that it will become an annual tradition.
I sit a basket of some sort around and TRY to keep all the holiday books together so we can read them at a moments notice.

The Polar Express is a great story about the magic of christmas when you're a child.
I don't want to give away too many details, but the story includes a magical train ride to the North Pole and a special gift from Santa himself.

The author has a great way with words and the story does indeed seem magical even to an over tired Mom :O)
He does all his own illustrating too which is great, and shows again so much talent.

If you have a little one in awe of the season, or you just need to jump start your own 'magic' this is a must read !
