Boring

This is one of the most boring rap CDs I have ever heard. These guys are great live, but all their live concert energy is just sucked away by lackluster production and dull, fluffy, self-obsessed lyrics. I mean, these guys are supposedly from "the streets," and they've been touring for years, so how come they have NOTHING to say except about how good they are.

The music is also silly, sparse, and dreary, almost an afterthought. But an afterthought after what? There's not a catchy, meaningful, or interesting track on this whole CD! Anyone who has any discs by the Roots, Pharcyde, Kool Keith, De La Soul, the Beastie Boys, or anyone else with a whiff of creativity or intelligence will be annoyed and bored by "The Platform."
