I'd love to sit in this office
Pros:
hilarious, romantic, sincere, outlandish, crazy, awkward (in a good way), introductions of key characters
Cons:
this is a great show, only con is the first season is too short!
The Bottom Line:
Everyone should purchase the first season of The Office because it is a brilliant sitcom, and this season started it all!

Author's Review
The Office is by far the best comedic series on television, and it will be for years to come. The first season of the show was short and sweet, yet it was just enough of a taste to let us know what we were in for in later seasons. Steve Carrell, a pure comedic genius in the truest of forms, comes to life as awkward, obnoxious, and unorthodox boss Michael Scott. Jim, played by John Krasiniski, the resident hottie, is in love with Pam, the engaged receptionist. Ryan the temp, and Dwight K. Schrute, played brilliantly by Rainn Wilson, are all introduced in the first season of six episodes. This Emmy winning show was a somewhat risky remake of Ricky Gervais' British version, only to be bigger and more successful than was expected. The Office has originality, flair, and comedic subtlety that can only be made by the highest form of writing. Episodes range from Dwight hiding in a box in "The Alliance", to a rivalry between warehouse and office in "Basketball." The show manages to be funny, romantic, and sincere, although it did have the small awkward hump in it's first couple of episodes, as most shows do. By season two, that awkwardness faded into what is now one of the best shows on television. This is the season that started it all, and you won't want to stop after that!
