Predictable But Still Fun

Date of Review:  Oct 6, 2005
The Bottom Line: Overall, Gardner has written another winner. A few things could have made this an excellent book, but an Above Average novel isn't a bad thing!
Review: Lisa Gardner realizes a great duo when she has one, so she builds another story around the twosome of Pierce Quincy and Rainie Connor. In this tome, someone is killing people near and dear to Quincy. The reader is grabbed from the beginning with a...

What? It Was an Accident?

Date of Review:  May 21, 2003
The Bottom Line: The bottom line was last seen plotting the next in a series of heinous attacks on the family of one of the FBI's approximately 4,000,000 profilers...
Review: Mystery novels, of which I read (or, more accurately, devour) an inordinate number, are routinely assigned to a plethora of subgenre. There is, of course, the dichotomy between police procedural and private detective; there are a slew of...

For Some Light Reading - Enjoy!

Date of Review:  Jun 27, 2002
The Bottom Line: Recommended to the individual looking for a shallow story to waste a couple of hours reading.
Review: The Next Accident is another piece of modern fiction that attempts to confuse and surprise the reader through its plot twists in this murder mystery. This novel contains many parallels to other successful forays in this field in recent history such...

Was buying it an Accident?

Date of Review:  Mar 18, 2002
The Bottom Line: Slow to start, but picks up well. Keeps you turning pages.
Review: This is another book that was very slow to start. It was very hard to keep my concentration trained on reading this book, but once I did, I found that it did have a good story line, though the plot does not have that great a foundation.
