You'll Load It and Reload It Into Your CD Player |

Pros: excellent blend of rock and techno
Cons: lack of consistency
The Bottom Line: Great mix of hard rock and techno
Review: While I didn't jiz my pants in anticipation of this movie like the rest of the country did, I was very excited to get the soundtrack. Just reading the back of the case told me that I was in for something fun.
Like the Spawn soundtrack, Disc 1... |

Pros: Works for me!
Cons: Depends upon your tasteĀ
The Bottom Line: I love soundtracks, so of course I'm going to say give it a try. =P
Review: The Matrix is back and with The Matrix: Reloaded and another soundtrack to boot! Of course, how ironic that the second movie should come out with a two disc CD. So that means I have two CDs to go over. Joy, joy. Well, this ...

Pros: Great soon to be released tracks from Manson and Deftones.
Cons: Only two tracks unique to the soundtrack
The Bottom Line: The soundtrack is worth picking up for the high quality tracks although there is the glaring fact that the album contains only 2 unique tracks with the score.
Review: Since the early days of theatrical musical movie releases, it can be seen that a soundtrack can be an integral part of the movie as well as racking up some considerable sales of its own. Though movies have somewhat moved away from musicals with...

Pros: Stacked lineup, songs capture 'Matrix' feel and mystique
Cons: Most songs seem like afterthoughts in the movie
The Bottom Line: A fantastic soundtrack filled with a great lineup also happens to be a great value in offering extra enhancements and score. A must buy for fans of the movie.
Review: The Matrix Reloaded soundtrack is very similar to the first; in fact, a few of the artists from the first also are contributors. But because of this or another reason, this Matrix soundtrack stands up fairly well compared to its predecessor; one might...

Pros: There is a handful of really good songs on the album.
Cons: Most songs already or soon released elsewhere. Not up to par with original Matrix ST.
The Bottom Line: If you like rock/techno then this is a pretty solid album for the drama with 1 or 2 misplaced tracks. Not as good as the original soundtrack, but still solid.
Review: As the release of the The Matrix Reloaded is coming up really fast these days, the soundtrack for the movie was released early to give people a musical taste of the 2nd Matrix installment.
Looking at this album compared to the original... |

Pros: Some good dance music.
Cons: You have to be a rock/heavy metal person in order to like it.
Review: If you're not a fan of rock and heavy metal, I advise you to stay away. The c.d features singers such as Marilyn Manson, and Rob Zombie. Of course, the two-disc c.d isn't ALL rock. There are some techno stuff that is actually pretty good if you wanted ...
