The Bottom Line: A great family movie that you can watch over and over again.
Pro's
The Little Mermaid had great animation and the music was wonderful. Some say this was a feminist movie, but if you look deep into it you will see it isn't. This movie is about a girls doing everything she can to make her dream come true. It shows that even if you make the wrong choices in life, if you keep faith it will work out in the end. It proves that you can have friends that will help you no matter what and that true love can conquer all.
Con's
My two year old loves the movie, but the end where the sea witch takes control over the sea, bother's her a little. I recommend if you have young children that get upset easily that you fast forward it through this part till they are old enough to understand.
