Classic Disney

I remember the first time my youngest child saw this movie. She was about 2 years old and the colors and wonderful singing entranced her. To this day she loves the Little Mermaid. We recently went to Disney World and she just had to see everything to do with Ariel & the Prince.
This movie has a great plot about a young mermaid whose father forbids her to seek out things from the land and from humans. She is very anxious to find out all she can about the "humans". She has the opportunity to look at a handsome prince and decides she must go on the land and meet him. She gets involved with the sea witch and ends up getting herself in trouble - only her father can get her out of. In the classic Disney tradition everything works out and she gets married to the prince.
This is one of our favorite Disney movies. We can't wait for the continuing tale of The Little Mermaid when Ariel's daughter decides she wants to find out what's under the sea. The Little Mermaid II is coming out in May and we'll be 1st in line to buy it that day.
People of all ages should see this movie.
