Engaging easy read.

Date of Review:  Mar 22, 2007
Review: I got this book for my birthday a few weeks ago. I sat down to read it and didn't put it down until it was done. It was a well written book and a very easy read. I finished it in about three hours.

I very much liked the approach that he...

Made me want to go to heaven

Date of Review:  Jul 27, 2008
The Bottom Line: Optimistic view on life and death
Review: The Five People You meet in Heaven, written by Mitch Albom is about a man named Eddie and his experience in heaven. The story starts out with Eddie dying. When Eddie gets to heaven there are five different people that he visits. Each one of those...

The Tao of Bumper Stickers

Date of Review:  Jan 5, 2004
The Bottom Line: Go ahead and read the five people you meet in heaven. At least it's more complex than "My Labrador Retriever is Smarter than Your Honor Student" (although that's actually true).
Review: What's going on in the corridors of publishing power? Just take a look: books written for kids get longer and longer (and more expensive), while books ostensibly written for adults get shorter. Don't believe me? Try comparing the heft of Harry...

The Five People You Meet in Heaven

Date of Review:  Nov 19, 2008
The Bottom Line: It is really suitable for the beginner because the story is light and not to thick, but still meaningful.
Review: The Five You Meet in Heaven is a very famous book of Mitch Albom. My sister gave me this book when we were going to my hometown as a short flight company. I have heard about this book long before I got one, and it is indeed more interesting to read...

The Five People You Meet In Heaven - If Only, It Was Really Like This...

Date of Review:  Oct 17, 2003
The Bottom Line: A fantastic follow-up to Tuesdays With Morrie. Buy a copy for yourself. Buy one for your best bud too.
Review: Death.

It's scary. The whole pre, during, and after of it is a mystery but more importantly, it's a certainty.

What's it like to know that you're going to die? Sure, we all know that we're going to die someday, but what happens...

Eddie's experience in Heaven

Date of Review:  Jul 12, 2008
The Bottom Line: This was a nice quick read that you will probably enjoy.
Review: "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom is the latest novel that I finished reading. This book is a #1 New York Times Best Seller and is authored by the same author that wrote "Tuesdays with Morrie". It seems the author has a curiosity...

Short and Sweet

Date of Review:  Aug 31, 2008
The Bottom Line: "Earth hath no sorrow that heaven cannot heal."  ~ Sir Thomas Moore
Review: With The Five People You Meet In Heaven, in under 200 pages, Mitch Albom brings his reader a lovely impression of life after death. I'm one of the few who hasn't read Tuesdays With Morrie, Albom's predecessor, so I could be missing my mark when I...

For your heart and soul

Date of Review:  Jan 6, 2004
Review: It didn't take very long to get through this book, being that it's a small book with slightly less than 200 pages. Eddie's life and death will make you smile and cry at the same time. I find it hard to believe that anyone could walk away from this...

A Unique Look at the Afterlife

Date of Review:  Jan 4, 2007
Review: In The Five People You Meet in Heaven, Mitch Albom explores his idea of what Heaven might be like. This book offers inspiration and depression in equal doses, but in the end the reader is left with enough closure to be content, but enough questions...

Cute, but don't pay full price!

Date of Review:  Jan 26, 2004
Review: I picked up this book for a Christmas present after hearing about it on a radio talk-show. It is fairly predictable, but does make you take a moment or two and reflect back on your life and the impact you may have had on others, whether you are...
