The Bottom Line: This book is worth its weight in gold! You can learn cognitive behavioral therapy techniques from an expert that can enrich or perhaps even save your life
Review: If you are suffering from panic attacks, your medications are not working and you cannot afford to see a psychologist, then I suggest you read "The Feeling Good Handbook" by Dr.David Burns.

Cons: You should have a doctor (psychologist) in conjunction with the book.

Pros: Excellent insight; focused and effective exercises; cutting-edge science; great value.
Cons: Insufficient emphasis placed on the dual use of medicines and cognitive therapy.
The Bottom Line: If you use this book in conjunction with qualified psychiatric care / proper medicines, I highly recommend it. If, however, you go it alone, the book is only somewhat effective.
