Author's Review
I'm a huge Johnny Cash fan. And this has all his best. All of his most popular are there: Hey Porter, Walk the Line, Ring of Fire, Cry, Cry, Cry, Man In Black, and Folsom Prison. Also, some less popular ones are included, like Get Rhythm, Night Hank Williams Came To Town, Ballad of Teenage Queen, Johnny Yuma, Man In Black, Tennessee Flat-Top Box, Ira Hayes, The One On The Right Is On The Left. Plus, he does some stuff with Bob Dylan (Girl From North Country), Marty Robbins (my second favorite artist, in Song of the Patriot), Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson (Highwayman, which was amazing), Waylon Jennings (Night Hank Williams Came To Town), and U2 (The Wanderer). Besides I've been Everywhere, you won't need to buy another Cash album. All are lively, great fun, often funny (like The One On The Right Is On The Left and A Boy Named Sue), often have morals (Ballad of Teenage Queen, Don't Take Your Guns To Town, and Ira Hayes are just a few examples), and all are great for any time of day. Whether you love Johnny Cash, never heard of him, or just started listening, you'll give two thumbs (and two toes) up for this great album!
