Sing Nolly! Sing!

I like this book as it tells a story much like dragon song, a very sad one but a happy ending, which is a bit predictable but is good none the less. I like this book as it introduces a new character and you feel as you get to know the character in a very small space of time, which is good. Some of the book lacks a bit, when Readis ( the main character) is by himself, and i find it much like Dragon song. i find these bits particulaly boring, but the excitement of the rest of the book makes up for this short lapse.
i find the timing of the book very strange, as in All the Weyrs of Pern it kind of gives an ending to an era, but the Dolphins of Pern carries on past this ending and this confuses me, and in the new book, The Skies of Pern, it does not seem to really fit in. i would recommend this book though, as it is excellent just to read by it's self.
