I heard about this book on the Rosie O'Donnell show when she had the author on he show. I was immediately intrigued by the book. I read each page with great rapture.- this is an INCREDIBLE story. It is the author's story of his mother and all her travails. It is a story of what true love and love of family can accomplish.
I was so taken with this book that I called the head of my sons' English Department at their High School and told him to put it on the students' summer reading list. I have recommended it to every person I know. It is one of those unforgetttable books that stays with you for a lifetime. I think everyone in America should read this. there are many6 lessons to be learned from this wonderful story. I hope Mr. McBride will write many others. Read this and have a wonderful experience. Kudos to Mr McBride!!!!!!!
