Girl Power

The Bottom Line: A good preteen movie for Fridays.
The Cheetah Girls is about four girls: Gallerya, Chanel, Aqua, and Dorinda. They tried out for a school talent show, then a producer had offered them their first big break. The would be the happiest they ever would be-so they thought. Problems started. Gallerya didn't agree with the stuff they had to sing-animal songs-and the girls had split. Chanel comes to Dorinda's house and learns that she was a foster child. Do learns that all that matters is what's in your heart. They didn't trust Gallerya anymore. They learned more about themselves, too. Gallerya had her parents there for her. Family will always be there, she knew. In the end, they earn each other's trust back after saving Gallerya's dog, Toto. They win the talent show.
I like the songs, their singing, and how it is a good movie and message. I really don't like how if you watch it a lot, it gets on your nerves a little. They are good singers, solo and together. Some have acting experience, and the movie's full of surprises. You don't know what will happen your first time watching! This movie has girl power!
The songs the girls sing are: Cheetah Sisters, Cinderella, Girl Power, and Together We Can. Pretty good!
Overall, it's a good movie. I think preteen girls would enjoy it. Teens, people who don't watch That's So Raven, and boys might be better off avoiding it. Good on Fridays, too!
