The Bourne Identity: To hell with the Astin-Martin, I want a Mini!

The Bottom Line: Compared to a lot of other espionage flicks, this one could have turned out a lot worse. If you're a Matt Damon fan, you'll love it.
Review: I'm rather ambivilant about action flicks, I could skip most of them. But I do like spy capers that have plenty of plot and intrigue. Since I do like Robert Ludlum's books, this one was appealing enough to make me give it a chance tonight.

The Bottom Line: The Bourne Identity delivers on its goal of mindless entertainment. Another successful popcorn flick - no slight intended.
Review: Some action movies seek to tell a story and send a message in the midst of car chases and gun battles. Others have no such pretensions and seek simply to offer mindless entertainment. The Bourne Identity is such an offering.
