Three Cheers for Black Parade
Pros:
Catchy and intelligent lyrics, powerful message, and extremely singable.
Cons:
I've found nothing wrong with this album so far.
The Bottom Line:
Stay away if you're a hardcore Screamo fan as MCR has evolved slightly and you may not like it. Otherwise, this reviewer says "two thumbs up!"

Author's Review
This album is stellar. Gerard way has chosen to emulate Queen's famous front-man Freddie Mercury in his video for "Welcome to the Black Parade," their first single off of this album. Loyal Queen fans will also recognize the tell-tale Brian May like riffs within the first minute or so. I have loved Freddie and Queen from the moment I began to understand music and, strangely enough, I don't resent them incorporating their style into this album.
This album has been generally well received by critics, but some of the younger fans have expressed dismay at the slight deviation from MCR's normal screaming sound.
While this album is, by a slight degree, toned down from Three Cheers, there is still astounding guitar work, amazing lyrical architecture, and spitting vocals delivered with Gerard's usual raw fervor that will compel you to keep this album on constant repeat.
My Chemical Romance have grown between Three Cheers and Black Parade and their sound reflects it. While it is not a total deviation from Bullets or Three Cheers, the change is noticeable.
You can preview the album at www.mychemicalromance.com if you're slightly skeptical of their new sound and decide for yourself before making a purchase.
