Myself and my older brother are avid fans of the band U2, and have been following them since the beginning. A while back we purchased The Best of 1980-1990 and we were very pleased with the compilation of music that was put into the cd's. It groups the best songs of U2 onto a double cd album.

I love the way they got the best songs of U2, such as Sunday Bloody Sunday, One and Staring at the Sun. For a band to have this much success over 3 decades and still be able to sell out concerts and make each album go double-platinum is a feat. A feat only u2 and other great rock bands can do.

We can compare this album to the Rolling Stones Best of and The Beatles Best of. Such bands as this can be compared to U2 because rock fans of oday have respect for all 3. U2 can be placed in this category.

I would recommend any Rolling Stones album because they practically have the same type and sounds of music.
