Author's Review

Why buy the best man soundtrack? I say buy it because this is the best soundtrack to accompany a movie in a long time, that's why! From beginning to end this soundtrack was smoking with wonderful cuts. From Stevie Wonders "AS" To the wonderful duet by Beyonce of Destiny's Child and Mark Nelson " As time goes by" to the wonderfully done quartet and title song "The Best Man" by Tyrese, RL of Next, Genuwine and Case. This album has something for everyone, from ballads to upbeat tempo songs to old time songs this album is smoking!! This is the first time in ages that I have seen an album that was created specifically to suit the content and the theme behind a movie. I must say that I have never seen a soundtrack album that so eloquently defined the content of a movie, I was just simply amazed scene by scene as the music played in the background how well it set the stage for each of the scenes and it seemed to have somehow carried each scene and helped each of the actors be that much better in each of the scenes. If you are a lover of or just like the R&B sound might I suggest that you check out the individual albums and the music of the artists that were featured on this soundtrack, in particular Tyrese, Stevie Wonder Genuwine, and Case.
