Stirring, well-crafted, old-fashioned epic!

The Bottom Line: I believe this is a wonderful melding of old-fashioned, epic screen biographies with the marvels of modern technology, anchored by a strong DiCaprio performance.
Review: Reviews of THE AVIATOR seem to fall into three camps. Those who hate it because it rewrites history...I'll admit right here that I don't know enough about the "true" history of Hughes to comment on the accuracy of every detail. Others hate it...

The Bottom Line: I'm glad I saw this once, but I'm also glad I didn't buy it, as it has too many flaws. I recommend renting it only.
