the dude is wack to me.

a lot of hype is on lil' wayne right now. he is a very popular hook artist. on hooks he sounds alright but on his own do i feel him? NO!!! double no. lil' wayne has a nice flow but the problem is that he isn't really spitting anything i'd call quality writing. he seems to be a young jeezy or mike jones clone & has a big mouth but has nothing to say except he "owns the block". production here is slightly above dime a dozen. he is an ok hook artist though, but he won't be anything more.
