Great Little Calc

The TI 36 is by far my favorite scientific calculator. It's quite compact and easy to carry around, and yet has all the functions you could need on a scientific calculator.

It has the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division symbols in easy access positions. It also can store up to 3 numbers at once, and these can be easily accessed through the use of the store and recall buttons. It also has the clear function so that you can clear the screen without losing the stored numbers.

As the name says, it's a solar calculator, so you don't have to worry about replacing the batteries. I like this a lot, as that's a constant problem on my TI 86.

As you'd expect, it's got sine, cosine, and tangent features, as well as the inverses of all of those. Through the use of the 2nd and 3rd keys, a much larger amount of features can be fit into a small calculator.

It has the removable sliding cover to protect it when it's not in use. It also fits onto the back for storage when you are using the calculator.

Another nice feature is the delete key. If you mistype something you can use it to delete what you typed incorrectly so you don't lose all the work you've done. It's not something I see on most scientifics.
