Takes a licking, and keeps on ticking!

I've had my TI-1795 SV for 4 years now, and am still very happy with it. It's not a high-end calculator by any stretch, but it handles 95% of what I need a calculator to do. It's perfect to keep on the desk, or in the desk drawer for when you need to crunch a few numbers.

The buttons are large and comfortable to use. The screen's display is very easy to read, and I almost never have problems getting the solar panel charged up enough to turn the calculator on. It's one of those gadgets that you always rely on, and know that it's up for just about any job.

I should be surprised that my TI-1795 is still around for me to rely on, given all that it's been through. I've dropped it on the floor, it's fallen out of my briefcase onto the concrete on 3 different occasions, and it's been pounced on numerous occasions by a house cat who seems to think she's a panther. The TI-1795 has been chewed on by said cat, yet continues to peform admirably. When and if this little guy ever dies on me, I'll run to the store and buy another one in a heartbeat.
