It will break my heart to send it back...

by   chrisjj612 ,  Jul 23, 2005
Pros: Nice modern looks; GREAT sound with down firing subwoofer and bass level control.
Cons: Display could be more informative; Severe lack of alarm features.
The Bottom Line: If you can live with one alarm and waking to radio or CD, you won't find a better sounding clock radio for the price. Especially as a refurb, great value
Review: I have been looking for a good sounding alarm clock but am not willing to shell out $400 for the Bose or Soundworks models. I found the SRL50 while poking around on line and took a chance. I have only had it two days now, but within five minutes I knew ...

Surprisenly great sound

by   reanders ,  Aug 17, 2008
Pros: Stylish, heavy duty, simple controls, great sound, and crisp bass
Cons: Limited alarm functionality and display features.

BEST LOOKING AND MOST FRUSTRATING RADIO EVER MADE!

by   rzumatto ,  May 5, 2009
Pros: Looks.
Construction.
Fit and finish.
Heavy.
FM/AM reception.
Beautiful accent lights.
Cons: ALARM
Doesnt play CDR
Bass boost on remote.
no tone controls
Sound is merely ok.
The Bottom Line:

I recommend this Teac if you can find it under $100 and you have reasonable expectations.

Review: I've had this radio for about a year and a half.  As you can tell, I have very mixed feelings about it.  I've always loved radios, and started first by looking for a Tivoli.  They have a model for about $999 that really picqued my ...

Pros: While it worked we enjoyed this cd player.
Cons: Warranty is worthless.
Review: The  Teac SR-L50 worked for a few months, then the laser gave out.Service has to be done at an authorized service center. The only one in my area went out of business. This I found out the hard way and informed Teac to ...
