Consumers please don't be fooled

Date of Review:  Jan 4, 2007
Review: I bought these about 3 hours ago ($100), and have already boxed them up for return. I was searching for higher grade in-ear headphones for my ipod. Yesterday, I read all the positive reviews on this site, and chose to blow my entire gift card on...

Improved sound quality, difficult to fit

Date of Review:  Aug 4, 2005
The Bottom Line: Jury is still out on whether it's worth the big price tag for only marginally better sound quality. Definitely not for bass heads.
Review: I have had these for a few days now. Most of what I've read on them says it takes at least a week to get comfortable with them, so I'm going to stick with it for a bit. These earphones are of the canal variety meaning, you have to push them into the...

You want quality intimate sound for $100? You got it.

Date of Review:  Sep 29, 2006
The Bottom Line: If you require topmost sound-blocking ability and aren't looking to spend much over $100, then look no further; these will not disappoint.
Review: Open the package for these, the entry level model of the Shure canalphone line, and immediately you become aware that much has been put into providing a quality product. Starting with the 'phones themselves (backed by a hearty two-year warranty),...

Not too bad, but you can do better

Date of Review:  Nov 25, 2006
The Bottom Line: Good for sound isolation, but not much for comfort and reliability.
Review: I bought these Shure E2C's because I listen to my iPod at work all most all day. I work construction, so the work environment is very noisy and I needed something that wouldn't make my ears hot (like the Bose headphones) but would still keep outside...

Yes, I made the right decision... Yes I did...

Date of Review:  Mar 6, 2007
The Bottom Line: Sensational sound quality and balance. For the $100 price point, I don't think you can find a better set of headphones, buds OR over ear.
Review: First off for reference I'm going to say a few things... I stay away from anything audio wearing the name badges of Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, etc... Those companies produce some great products, but for audio I stick with names like Grado,...

These are the ONES

Date of Review:  Jan 28, 2007
The Bottom Line: Buy these and FIT THEM PROPERLY and you will not be disappointed!!
Review: I wanted to replace the OEM earbuds with something 'great'. I read the reviews and decided upon the E2C for several reasons. The first being "Isolation" earbuds - these are simply ear plugs that allow a sound tube to go into your ear. They block out...

Killer sound takes some getting used to.

Date of Review:  Jan 9, 2006
The Bottom Line: Expensive, a value if music is important to you. The best earbuds I have listened to that I could afford. You'll have to fiddle with the attachments, don't give up!
Review: Got these babies for Christmas and love them. The sound with my iPod is awesome. Unless you are a professional these are all you'll ever need to enjoy quality music. Shure has been in the business forever and they make good stuff. Now it did take a...

Excellent

Date of Review:  Sep 3, 2006
The Bottom Line: Recommended to anyone looking to upgrade from their below the line headphones. Probably not for "quick" applications, where you need to take them in and out all the time.
Review: I've had the headphones for about two weeks now, and they are very nice. The sound isolation is much better than I expected--you can do loud things like mow the lawn or drive down the freeway with the windows down--and still listen at a low enough...

NO BASS! Beware.

Date of Review:  Oct 21, 2006
The Bottom Line: Get true noise canceling headphones.
Review: I have owned at least 10 different MP3 players, have bought the Sony earbuds(not good), and a slew of others off the rack at Best Buy. I use my MP3 player when I workout, I listen to loud, bass heavy music. My biggest problem at the gym, is they...

Shure-ly You Will Like These

Date of Review:  Oct 29, 2006
The Bottom Line: Works for most people in most situations. Only consider if you like clean, pure sound.
Review: Running tech for loud concerts, been there. Airplane rides (cause I am a traveling salesman), done that. Different situation require a different headphone until now. The Shure E2s fit in with most need in most situations. They have clean highs and...
