Pros: Compact, comfortable, very good, detailed sound.
Cons: High price, Replacement sleeves and wax guards are costly, maybe not enough bass
The Bottom Line: A bit more expensive than they probably should be but worth the price. Additional ownership costs are annoying and unnecessary.

Pros: Absolutely wonderful sound...sturdy *equilateral* cord...different sets of sleeves for a great fit
Cons: Sleeves are proprietary...sooner or later they'll wear out, and only available through Shure
The Bottom Line: Any music lover--serious or casual--would benefit greatly from these...amazing sound reproduction, reasonably priced (esp. on the Internet), sturdy construction. Well thought out and engineeered!

Review: I m going to start this review by telling you that I love music and I ve always wanted to take my music with me. I was one of the first in my neighborhood to own a cassette player in the early 70s I worked up and through the Walkmans and Discmans...

Pros: sound-isolating, excellent sound quality, neutral & well balanced, seemingly durable cable
Cons: may require fidgeting with EQ, finding optimal fit takes a while / experimenting
The Bottom Line: Superb sound quality. May take time finding optimal fit but well worth it! Loves high quality encodings!

Review: The Dilemma
After the cable on my Sony MDR-EX81LP started to loose its rubber coating and the wires themselves started fraying after 2.5 years, it was about time to start researching a replacement / upgrade. Although the cutting... |

Pros: Sound quality, noise isolation, sound quality and... did I mention sound quality?
Cons: Cost, fit, earwax stickers
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended if you can spend the money they're worth (and if you have average ears!)
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I recently bought a pair of Shure E2c headphones to use with an MP3 Player. These headphones are one of the best I've ever tried, including high-end, over-the-ear models and I definitely recommend them.

Pros: Quality, comfort, styling, chic, different, sound isolation
Cons: Price for some people, poor bass
The Bottom Line: Very high quality to match the price. Poor bass though. Bin the iPod standard earphones and splash out!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I bought these to replace the earphones from my 20Gb iPod. Standard iPod earphones are like sticking tea cups in your ears, rather painful to say the least.
I had read that the quality from Shure is good. The E2C being the least expensive... |

Pros: Great durability and excellent sound quality.
Cons: Takes a few seconds longer to get into your ear properly.
The Bottom Line: These are truly a fantastic set of headphones. Had I spent twice as much for them, I would still consider these well worth it and a bargain at that.
