The Bottom Line: Good lens for the money. Don't expect the best and you will be happy.
Review: Is it as sharp as the Nikon 28-70 - no way. As Clear and Brilliant as the Nikon 28-70 No Way. But, at 1/4 the cost, it is a good starter lens.

An average lens

The image blurs at f2.8 75mm.

Gets you very good quality image when there is enough light.

I found there are times that I wish the zoom range is wider on either ends.

UMM okay the other reviewer has no idea what this lens is made for.

The Bottom Line: If you know photography then this is no slouch in the performance arena and its not leaving you with a lens that only works on APS-C digital SLR's. 
Review: This is a 35MM or full frame lens optimized for digital photography. THIS IS NOT AN APS-C FORMAT LENS.

Therefore it is only giving a 44mm to 108MM zoom range on a DSLR APS-c format camera body with the smaller sensors.
