Low Price, High Quality Pictures!

I purchased this lens along with a Tamron 28-105mm lens on advice from several other Tamron lens owners. I had originally priced Nikkor lenses, but the comparable Nikkor was $269.99, and way over budget for me. Also, come to find out, Tamron manufactures parts for the 70-300mm Nikkor!

When I received my lens, I was shocked at how light it was eventhough it is nearly a foot long in its full telephoto! In storage or at 70mm it is about 6 1/2" long. It included its own fitted removable hood, and front and rear lens caps.

I took several shots with it at a local favorite park of mine, and was very pleased with the clarity, color saturation and sharpness of my photos. I wish I were able to post some of the pics here to show the great quality of this lens!

I see no real noticable difference in my pics versus the comparable Nikkor lens, and I paid only $189.99 for my Tamron! I am very pleased with my purchase!
