A Great Lens For The Advanced

This is an incredible lens. It has a focus length up to 300 meters. It is incredible how far this thing goes. The distance of this lens so long and precise that sometimes I feel like I could use it for a sniping scope. This is not for the avereage user. This fact should be known, the avereage point and click users will have no purpose for this lens.
This Tamaron is truly great for sports photos and high speed time photos. I used it at work all the time. I did however find it a problem to get light effectively in the lens. There were many times when I put the flash on put in high speed film and a very fast aperture yet the photos still came out very very dark. It does seem to fit every camera very well, like a universal high end lens. I used with the Cannon N-70 and it was perfect, also with an old Pentax.
If you want to use a great lens for high speed action shots and you know what you are doing then this is a great buy, especially for a hair under $500 considering it is comparable to a lens that is a couple hundred more. The price versus quality match up has been Tamaron's trademark and this one is no different.
