HUNTING THE MAN

I've always been a fan of rockstar games ever since the original GTA came out. ever since then, every game rockstar seems to make, gets better and better....but today we are reviewing manhunt.

STORY LINE

your a convicted murder about to be put to death, but then all of a sudden you are spared, you are kept alive by some crazed man who sends you on a killing spree for his own enjoyment. Pretty much, you’re sent out into the wild to kill everyone in your way =]

GAME PLAY

the game play in manhunt is somewhat original, but does get on your bad side every so often.
The game plays as if you have a camera crew following your every move, filming everything you do.
This isn't your normal kill-em up game. this is a game based on stealth/strategy, which is not to say it doesn't have it moments where you run into a group of baddies just killing them =]
very easy on in the game you'll starting killing no less then 5 mins into it. Pretty much the first kill is a practice kill. You have choices on how you choose to kill people in the game. Execution style of just hand or hand combat....execution style is much more enjoyable for the eyes if you like that type of thing. Depending on how long you hold the action button down for give you a different type of execution. How ever....these can get very boring after seeing it for 10-20 times per scene....so mix it up.

You also have the ability to sneak and hide in dark areas. What I really like about this game is that you can alert the bad guys by pounding on walls or knocking over trashcans. Pretty much anything that makes noise....draws attention


graphics

graphics are top-notch, very little clipping. Very smooth and fluid, little slow down.
Light and textures are done very nice....it's a real nice game too look at. for everyone going....why is it so grainy....it's suppose to be......it gives the feeling like your watching your self on film.

Sound
crank it up. The louder the better... everything makes noise and is crystal clear. Take my word for it.

Overall
this is a game done nice. If your looking for a shoot-um up...then move past this one. This is more for a patient gamer that is willing to wait 3-5 minute to plan out how you want to kill the baddies.
Also you might get bored at watching the death scenes....so mix it up....
I give it my over all score of 9/10
oh btw. the game uses graphic language so you might not what your 5 year old playing it if you know what I mean =]
