Tag Heuer Aquaracer Auto Chrono day, date CAF2010.BA0815

After owning a Tag Heuer Kirium quartz for 6 years which i thought was the best looking model Tag Heuer had made. I thought I would never buy another. When I saw the Aquaracer I knew this would be my second Tag watch. So £1750 later I was the proud owner of this amazing watch. 12 months later the Kirium has only been back on my wrist a handful of times. The Aquaracer has performed briliantly in all situations, doing sports, swimming and all the day to day wear. Being and automatic it does gain a few seconds every month but this is all within the limits. The watch is extremely well built and is quite heavy so feels like quality the moment you put it on your wrist. The power reserve lasts couple of days if its left off the wrist. The chronograph feature has a swweping hand as you would expect from a quality watch. The clasp secures with 2 press buttons and clicks into place very positively. The look of the watch is timeless and I would recommend this watch to anyone. The choice for me was between the Aquaracer, a Rolex Submariner and a Breitling Navitimer. I choose the watch over the ageing looks of the Submariner and the shall we say unique looks of the Breitling. 1 year later I still feel I made the right choice.
