I love my TV Guide

Date of Review:  Nov 17, 2000
Review: I have nothing bad to say about my TV Guide.. With 543 channels, it is a big help when I need to find something on regular cable. Besides having all the listing from Sunday to Sunday, here is what else it has.

The Insider : So we all know...

Television's Tabloid Tripe

Date of Review:  Oct 18, 2004
The Bottom Line: TV Guide is fine for looking up listings of shows, but your Sunday newspaper is just as good.
Review: Keeping track of television shows on network and cable is important for those who have a regular schedule of TV viewing. For couch potatoes and casual viewers alike, it is often important to know what's on the tube at what time so that weekly...

More than Just Television Listings

Date of Review:  Dec 3, 2000
Review: TV Guide is more than a list of television programs. It is filled with fun and interesting information as well. Of course it does have a daily listing of television programs and a description of movies in the back section but there's more.

TV Guide Magazine: They Say Bigger Is Better!

Date of Review:  Feb 20, 2006
The Bottom Line: TV Guide Magazine: It's TV Made Easy!
Review: As long as I can remember, TV Guide Magazine has been a regular part of the household. The kids fight over it, and hubby is always looking for it. Of course, it is never where it is supposed to be! Last year, TV Guide Magazine took on a new and...

TV Guide The Gift That Lives On

Date of Review:  Jan 29, 2000
Review: During my father's lifetime, my sister and I could always depend upon getting TV Guide as our Christmas present from our father. A little over a year after his death, my subscription expired and for the first time in years my household was without...

Not Worth Subscribing To If You Don't Have Cable

Date of Review:  Sep 14, 2000
Review: It seems as though TV Guide has been around forever. The first issue appeared in 1953, a long time ago in ?TV Years?. We always had TV Guide in our house when I was growing up. I loved looking through it to see what shows I wanted to watch. Back...

Toss Up

Date of Review:  Jan 11, 2000
Review: TV Guide is another one of those magazines I subscribe to because I had to use up expiring frequent flier miles. I?ve been getting TV Guide for about three months.

I?ve got to be perfectly honest, I don?t read every issue ? mainly because I...

The fluff factor is dumbing TV Guide down...even with an extreme makeover

Date of Review:  Oct 7, 2004
The Bottom Line: As long as it has a TV set, The Bottom Line will need a TV Guide handy.
Review:
For as long as I can remember, TV Guide has been a constant presence in my house. Although my mom and I didn't subscribe until 1997, we did buy it at the local Publix and Winn-Dixie because the Miami Herald's TV Book was, in our opinion, less...

What a piece of trash!

Date of Review:  Oct 23, 2001
The Bottom Line: Why does my Wife subscribe to this thing? It's an absolutely worthless and pointless piece of garbage. Heck, it's even hard to decipher program listings in it.
Review: Oh, how I hate TV Guide. You'd think the name of the thing revealed it's purpose -- to allow one to find what's on television quickly -- but that's not the case at all. No TV Guide is something else entirely, but I'll get to that later.
