Toastmaster is more of a master than I thought it was going to be!!

First of all, it was really a tough decision on whether to buy a Toastmaster over our usual G.E. brand that we are so faithful to. I have always loved G.E. products and have rarely been let down with one. But the last G.E. toaster that we had really let me down. So, we gave this a try and I'm so glad that I have stepped "out of the box".

What really attracted me to this toaster in the first place was the looks of it. My old white toaster that I'd had for ages just wasn't looking its best anymore. When I spotted this one I thought that it was mighty fine lookin'. I didn't shop around too much because it's just not one of those things you do when you buy a little toaster. Again, since I was disappointed with the G.E. we had I had to try something else. It does look great on my counter and so far has been easy to clean up the outside to make it look spiffy.

I thought the crumb tray would be pretty handy. My old toaster didn't have that. It just had the little tray that had a hinge and you opened it up and the crumbs fell all over the place. Well, this is a tad tidier than the other one, but not the "WOW" that I thought it was going to be.

We'd had a wide slot toaster before and it was great for bagels, so this is something that we definitely wanted. We are pleased with this feature.

The buttons on the toaster are great! You can defrost and reheat and even adjust the widths of the slots. I had never had a toaster like this before. Our last toaster was somewhat frustrating in the fact that we would sometimes "lose" our poptarts or thinly sliced bread because they would fall down in. Then you deal with getting shocked if you try and get it out with a fork because you just want your poptart and don't want to fool with unplugging it.

The toaster was about $28 I believe. It's well worth the money that we paid. G.E. better be careful or we might start heading toward other brands more often.
