We replaced our old cuisinart toaster with this convection model Cuisinart toaster. We looked all over for a white toaster oven that was compact and could toast, bake, broil, etc, and this was the only one we liked. The only thing wrong with the old toaster is that after 6 years or so, the paint starting chipping off the front edge. Still works fine, so I use it at my work now.
The convection feature is nice. The oven heats up in minutes, somewhat faster than the non-convection previous model. The convection fan is fairly loud, but it's worth the time savings and it reminds me that the oven is on! If you've ever wondered if you just left the house with the oven/stove on, you probably won't with this.
The toasting is nice. It even measures the oven temperature to it won't toast as long if the unit is already quite warm. I've found that waffles toasted on "4" come out lightly brown when first used, but when starting with a warm oven, the same setting browns them a little more. Not perfect, but it borders on a smart toaster.
Easy to set the clock and other features. Compared to the previous model, the convection is nice, and the front window is hinged so it's easy to keep open slightly and it won't slam closed
