TI-89 Buy it!

Date of Review:  Jan 28, 2002
The Bottom Line: This calculator is expensive, but well worth the price.
Review: I bought this calculator for my combined calculus 1 & 2 class. I can honestly say that I would not have passed without it. In an era when science and math rely heavily on calculators and computers, students must be prepared to deal with the...

Ti-89 (Texas Instruments)

Date of Review:  Apr 10, 2006
Review: I am really lacking in my math skills. The Ti-89 helps me maintain a high average in math. The Ti-89 has a superior user interface and a wide variety of functions. This calculator is also superior at 3D graphing. You can also download hundreds of...

The TI-89 Titanium is a first-class toy!

Date of Review:  Sep 13, 2008
The Bottom Line: The TI-89T is an excellent calculator for high school, college, gaming, professional and scientific use. If you need something more muscley, buy a computer.
Review: I never really had a graphing calculator before, and I wanted to get a good one. Everybody who had something to say on the subject said that the TI-89 Titanium was the best in the class. So I went on eBay and bought one for $110 plus $8...

Good Tool for AP

Date of Review:  Jul 29, 2005
The Bottom Line: This is an excellent tool for AP classes, but you will still have to know your math.
Review: Overview:

The TI-89 is undoubtedly the best calculator you can get. It has more memory, is faster, and has a better OS than the TI-83.

The Good News:

The TI-89 can run programs that are more demanding than the TI-83...

Ti-89

Date of Review:  May 20, 2006
Review: This is a great calculator for the high school or college student. I like it much better than the new titanium version as it is easier to type quickly on having used the same style for many years. It does nearly everything that one could want in a...

Powerful and Durable

Date of Review:  Aug 3, 2004
The Bottom Line: Absolute amazing calculator and a good investment for the future.
Review: I've had my TI-89 for almost 4 years now and it still runs as well as the day I bought it. It's been dropped, banged around, had water spilled on it, and I'm still running it. It's most possibly the best graphing calculator Texas Instruments (TI)...

Texas Instruments TI-89: Is This God?

Date of Review:  May 1, 2003
The Bottom Line: The Texas Instruments TI-89 is by far the best calculator in the TI-8X series. It's like a God for high school and college!
Review: The Texas Instruments TI-89 is the most expensive and advanced calculator in the TI-8X series. It's much more money than either the TI-83+ or TI-86. However, the difference in price is worth it when you see the capabilities that the Texas...
