Chris Taylor delivers an epic RTS!

Date of Review:  Feb 20, 2007
The Bottom Line: A challenging RTS, with epic scope and innovative features. This game will demand a lot out of the player.... and out of the PC it is installed on.

The biggest gaming disappointment of 2007 is here.

Date of Review:  Mar 3, 2007
The Bottom Line: Skip this one and get Command and Conquer 3
Review: I wish to note at the outset of this review that THQ ignored numerous requests for information on Supreme Commander as well as media information which I thought was necessary to answer some of questions and concerns I had about the game. I mention...

First Impressions: Supreme Commander for PC

Date of Review:  Feb 17, 2007
The Bottom Line: If your computer can handle it I would recommend this game to anyone who loved the original and anyone who wants to be involved in the success of the sequel.
Review: Intro: This game is probably the most hyped game in it's category since...well, ever. It is the 10 year sequel to Total Annihilation (TA) which was the very game to incorporate most of the features that are in all real time strategy (RTS) games...

Chris Taylor On War

Date of Review:  Mar 17, 2007
The Bottom Line: There's a reason why most of the top gaming magazines ranks SupCom as a must-have.
Review: Move over, Clausewitz. Supreme Commander (SupCom) redefines the seamless blending of strategic and tactical control of the virtual battlefield.

Amazing and transcendent, but only gets 5* because of its originality.

Date of Review:  Sep 28, 2007
The Bottom Line: Buy if you like RTS. If you don't, you probably will not like it much because it takes quite a bit of time and concentration to play.
Review: As someone who frequently plays strategy games, I was quite impressed with SC, though there are some things that could be improved. Of course, transcending other games of the 'genre' (though this pushes the meaning to an entire new level) gives it a...

Doesn't meet expectations.

Date of Review:  Mar 17, 2007
The Bottom Line: If you love modded TA, Supreme Commander will be a big disappointment in its current form. If you've never played TA, then you may like the game.
Review: Let me begin by saying I am a HARDCORE TA fan. I still play it. I have made custom maps for myself as well as use custom (cheating) AIs and several mod packs (TAUCP + a few units I really like that I TACC'd in - Bob and Quark smasher come to mind =...
