Pros: Allows the use of a secondary monitor as a really expensive picture frame.

Cons: Simply does not perform in any aspect.

Unfortunately this docking station simply does not perform.

First of all, as a docking station, I could not download pictures from my digital camera or even use my printer through its usb ports. Targus stated that the docking station has two power ports that if used should take care of this problem. It did not, however, and these items still have to be plugged directly into my laptop bypassing the purpose of the docking station altogether.

The second purpose of this particular docking station was the use of an external monitor. The video sent through the docking station is not displayed on the monitor, period. The docking station apparently can not convert the video fast enough even at the lowest resolution. It is not even choppy; it is not displayed.

The only use I have found for this is it allows me to display a still picture while I continue to use my laptop screen to do anything and everything else.
