I Love It, I Hate it, It's NOT a Blackberry
Pros:
Small size, bright screen, easy to use operating system, flawless synchronization.
Cons:
E-mail can be difficult at times to send and receive.
The Bottom Line:
Not a business tool, but if business is not your thing, it can be an ok device.

Author's Review
This is an interesting device. It attempts to do many things and it does them quite well, but I am somewhat disappointed in it's e-mail handling capability. I do get my mail (most of time - but sometimes delayed), it's NOT as bulletproof as my old Blackberry seemed to be. Since my primary focus is on email, I would have been better off with the Blackberry platform. The pop 3 design of the DASH seems to hang up from time to time when retrieving e-mail from my Yahoo and GMAIL accounts. This is frustrating when I am in a hurry to send an email. With the Blackberry I would write the email, hit send and it would go. With this device, I write the message and then tell it to send and wait until the "connecting" prompt goes away, then wait until the sending and receiving prompt goes away. This seems to happen in slow motion. On top of that, I sometimes get a message which reads "Error, Your Internet connection is not configured properly. Please verify your settings in Data Connections. As you can imagine this is quite frustrating. I don't see why I have to check the same thing out over and over for no reason at all.
So, if e-mail is your primary focus this device is not for you. If you want a camera phone, easy to use calendar, a device that seems to sync perfectly with outlook and something that has blue tooth connect ability then this is not a bad choice.
There are also some annoying issues with this device. First off is the volume control strip that will change the volume of a telephone call in mid conversation for apparently no reason at all. That's quite frustrating. I think there is a software upgrade for this but I am not sure. Just by holding the phone the volume seems to change.
Secondly, I've had to retrain my voice dialing settings more than once. For some reason over time, they seem to change by themselves. When at one time I could have told the phone to "Call Home" and then have my home number dialed, for some reason "Call Home" changed from a phone call to an attempt to send an email to my home address. Strange.
