Having lived most of my teen years in the 1990's, one of the greatest decades ever might I add, some of the greatest dance songs came out and will be considered golden oldies in about 30 or 40 years. One of the most recognized dance groups in the history of dance is La Bouche and they have created one of the most dynamic albums ever. They are known for some of their hottest singles which I will discuss and label HOT beside the title. La Bouche groups with around 4 other dance groups (to be analyzed in the future) in terms of popularity and enjoyment by most music (dance that is) fans.
1) Be My Lover
This was one of their top songs that rocks still today when people hear it. It introduced a new tone to dance and had a serious catchy beat. Not too powerful, yet not a lamer, slow song which could have made or broke them.
Wanna Be My Lover
Ahhhh Haaaa Yeahhhh
Wanna Be My Lovvvverrrr
....
You Ought to Know Right Now
If You Wanna Be My Loverrrrr, Loverr, Loverr
Score : 8/10
2) Sweet Dreams
Let's all fade our brains away for a second. This is nowhere near anything of a remix of Marilyn Manson's Sweet Dreams which is awesome. This song talks about dreams of happiness where everyone is dancing through the night. The tone is very similar to that of Be My Lover and as well carries on some beats from it. Basically, if you played it backwards, you have the same song.
Sweet Dreams of Rhythm of Dancing
Sweet Dreams of Passions Throughhhhh the Night
Sweet Dreams Have Taken Over
Sweet Dreams of Dancing Throughhh the Night
Score : 9/10
******HOT!!!!!!
3) Falling in Love
Is it just me or do these titles sound familiar and it seems that you can't put a tune to the singer? Most of the titles on the album sound like they have been used by an abundance of other artists. Falling In Love slows down the pace from the high intensity first two tracks. The male artists also help out with the vocals in this song and don't make their periodic rap "2 cents" in the first two songs.
Baby, Baby
Falling In Love
Im Falling In Love Again
Everyday I Love You More and More and More
Score : 6/10
4) Where Do You Go
Are you thinking of those spanish dudes? Well you are wrong if you did so. La Bouche sings a popular track re-done a little bit better by that other spanish/latin boy band group back in 1997. Instead of the familiar latin beats in the other song, this one has the trance and club beats intervening with ...
.... Where Do You Go
My Lovely
Where Do You Go
I Want To Know
Oooo, ooo, ooo
Score : 7/10
5) I'll Be There
You have to love these simple titles .... but they are so hard to remember after a while because so many have them. The track sounds like something the S Club 7 Group and a singing church group would sing. The song is too slow and the intervals of each word in the lyrics make you feel like you have a hearing problem. Not jumpy enough to be danceable and overall the lyrics aren't up to par with the remainder of the album.
I Will Follow You
If You Are Weak I Will Give You Strength
If you cant go on ........
I'll be there
I'll be there
Score : 5/10
6) Do You Still Need Me
Another slow jam that is very dull takes the number 6 track on the album and is already starting to put me to sleep. Was looking for a 100% dance hardcore album but the producers didn't feel that was the way to go. Their loss ... I guess. A Whitney Houston like voice does the vocals while the male backup singers repeat each and every word after every few lines of the song. The drum beat in the back sounds very artificial and throws off the song a little bit.
Whatcha Gonna Do
Whatcha Gonna Do
If I cant Tell You
I Cant Tell You
................
No I'm Never Gonna (3x)
Until I Hear You Say
Do You Still Need Meeee
Score : 4/10
7) I Love to Love
The Beats are back in town, back in towwwwn! Now the cd begins to pick up the bass and I Love to Love sparks back the emotions that one would have gotten from the first and second track. The beats per minute is faster than any of the songs on the rest of the album. Without knowing what the future of dance music in the new millenium would hold, this song easily compares to a bunch of songs created just this year.
I'll Tell You A Secretttt
Ooooo
I Love to Love
I Love to Love Youuuu
.........
This is the way that it is, that it is!
Score : 9/10

8) The Heat is On
The Heat is On .. Is on Your ...... wrong cd. Once again the cd mellows down a knotch and once again I am getting ready to smash it, but their are a bunch of introductory song that prevent me from doing so. We go back to the 1980's as we listen to the song with the cheesy 80 beats that sound like a cheap porno movie. No appeal whatsoever and the attempt to make the rap part good was extremely unsuccessful, if not embarassing
The Heat is On
The Heat is On
.......
Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh
It's On
Theeeeeeeeeeee Heat is Onnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Score : 3/10
9) Poetry in Motion
Now its reggae, church music and a slow song all in one. My favorite combination, did you hear? *gives everyone a sarcastic look* I know dance music's lyrics are not top of the line but to repeat the same line over and over can be quite tedious as well as a lullaby for the listener. The chorus comes up and you want it never to end. The Bob Marley Long Long Long lyrics and the church beats make this track only appealing to those fans and those religious people. When I bought the cd, I was hoping for none of these songs (Thank God for the invention of the cd-writer) but got a basket case full of them.
Poetry in Motion (1 Million x)
Ooooooooooo
........
Score : 2/10
10) Shoo Bee Do Bee Do (I Like That Way)
Back to the hyper beats but this one is not too good. It's very choppy and seems perfect for an ad for a Kmart commercial advertising their specials or something. The title is cute, and deserves the nasal laugh. (Nasal Laugh = no facial expression, just a sniff and a quick nod; also known as fake laughs). The song is dominated by male singers this time around while the female pops in her two cents, usually a repetition of what the males say. The beat sounds do not even compare with any of the other livelier songs.
Shoo Bee Do Bee Do
I Like that Way
EveryDay
I Found My Way
Found My Way
Score : 6/10
11) Nice 'N' Slow
Clapping beat songs are extremely overdone so if La Bouche saw this as originality, they get a 1/10 in that category. The song can be slow at times, but can accelerate at any given time. The clapping is the most dominant beat in the song; it overpowers the small ones which is a popular technique in a dance song, yet this time they went too far!
If You Want To Try It
We Can Take It Nice And SLow
If You Say You Like It
I Will Never Let You Go
Score : 6/10
12) Falling In Love (Spike Mix)
The only difference between the mix and the original See Track 3 is the amount of beats and the reduction of lyrics. I like this version a whole lot better.
Score : 7/10
13) Be My Lover (House Mix)
The beat alters a little bit to a softer more mellow one. I don't like how they combined some orchestrated beats. Now that's just terrible. This version loses a few points. Maybe it's the 90's House that i'm not used too.
Score : 7/10
14) Le Click : Tonight is the Night
WHAT A WAY TO END OFF THE SONG WITH A BANG!! This is one of La Bouche's best songs ever on any album they have ever created. The beats are very retroish and fun. The theme and lyrics of the song can be deemed as sexual but with the combination of the music tones, it doesn't seem like it. But still for that matter, the song has about 7 beats going at once. So your ear membranes can take in the soothing sounds of the song. The vocals sometime get choppy when words are stressed -- hey no one is perfect.
Tonight is the Night
Is The Night of Love
Together Forever
I Can't Get Enough
Score : Lost one Point :( 9/10

Overall Opinion and Rich Does My Wallet Deserve to be Opened and Do I Have to Take My Hand and Grab Some Money and Give it To This Music Store Owner?
Ok, I got carried away with the title, but yes! Although a majority of the songs are under an average rating, some of the songs on the albums are classics and deserve to be on your cd rack. Track 1, 2 and 14 are great. Definitely worth the purchase. And because it's old expect to only pay between $8 and $13 (approx.)
