Camera disrupts home wireless network

Pros: relatively inexpensive, easy for a homeowner to install

Cons: knocks out my home wireless network; no solution from Swann

Buyer beware. Because this wireless camera uses a 2.4 GHz transmission, the same as your home network, you will not get a network signal on anything wireless in your home. I and my technician could both put our laptops next to the access point and got no signal. I emailed this to Swann and got a response that it is true and I should buy a wired system. You can expect to also knock out your neighbors wireless home networks.
