XJ-3000C - Working great for me

Super effective
I no longer have to take Claritin-D daily
Cons:
Control panel tends to get wonky after 6 months but does still work

The XJ-3000C has done miracles for me.
As background, I work in an extremely dirty office environment where they only do a cursory job of vacuuming and they don't ever clean the air vents for dust and mold. The place is an absolute breeding ground for allergans.
At one point this winter, I began having all sorts of extreme allergic reactions every single day I was in the office for more than 3 hours. Was seriously considering quitting my job just to get away from the dirtiness and severe allergic reactions that taking Claritin could no longer suppress.
As a last ditch effort, I ordered the XJ-3000C for my office. Soon as it arrived, I plugged it in and have not shut it off since. Within a week, I could work comfortably for a full 8-10 hour day without any symptoms of allergic reactions. In fact, I no longer even have to take Claritin which I had been taking daily for close to 10 years.
Even if this unit were to break down in 6 months, I would happily purchase a replacement immediately. Heck, buying 6 months worth of Claritin-D used to cost me more than buying a single XJ-3000C.
Anyway, just wanted to share a different perspective since I really do believe that this product is worth every penny.

Just checking back in after using the XJ-3000C for a little over two years. I have to politely disagree with all the negative reviews that have been posted regarding this machine after my original review. I do agree that the XJ-3000C doesn't have the most durable construction but it DEFINITELY gets the job done of improving air quality.
I have to admit one stupid thing that prevented my unit for working properly for the first few days was that I didn't know to remove the cardboard backing from the filter. As a result, the unit effectively did not filter anything those first couple days. However, after I removed the cardboard everything worked great.
I have since purchased two additional units for myself as well as given the unit as a gift to friends who are also heavy allergy sufferers. My friends have been amazed by what this machine has done to reduce their chronic allergy symptoms as well.
Anyway, for those of you who are chronic allergy sufferers, I truly hope you give the XJ-3000C a try and decide for yourself.
