good product for the price.

I bought one of these about a year ago. I was skeptical because it was so small and so quiet. I put it in my bedroom about two feet from my bed. I really think it helps! I have cats that sleep on the bed and I am allergic to them. I think it also helps my asthma.
It makes a very soft hissing sound when it is working but that doesn't bother me( not after having one of the big monstrosities that sound like a room air conditioner.) It also has the ozone smell which worried me a little at first but now I really like the smell, it is a clean smell to me.

Cleaning it is the only hassle I have. You remove a couple of screws and take out the plate on the bottom. My plates have become rusted which I don't think is good. Also, more dust has collected inside the unit than on the plates. I have tried to vacuum and wipe it out but it is hard. Trying to wipe off the needles is also hard because they prick you; they are very sharp.

I think the unit only works in about 250 square feet. I also
have a Quadra Pro by Sharper Image but it doesn't have ozone so I have both units next to my bed. I would definitely recommend this product but not for a large space. Ideally you could put one in every room of the house.
