The Bottom Line: Burr grinders are the preferred type to have. This one does a fair to good job and has been reliable.

The Burr Necessities: Cheap and Easy

The Bottom Line: The DBM-8 Makes a nice, even ground that definitely stands out from traditional blade grinders. Expect great value for the price, but not the ultimate in coffee perfection.

The Bottom Line: Far better than a $25 blade grinder. Powder isn't excessive, so drip is more than acceptable. Worth the $50 for good burr grinder.
