Super Smash Bros. Melee

The Bottom Line: I would recommend this to everyone because there is so many features you can choose from and you will never get bored of it.
Nintendo came around and made a great game that everybody out there would enjoy.Nintendo came up with 25 different characters to put in this game.Most are from different games that are out there.
~~Mario~~
One of Nintendo's famous characters who has played in many roles from being a hero to a villain.Mario's well-balanced attributes means he has no major weaknesses or strengths but is a great choice for player that have not played the game before.
~~Pikachu~~
One of the most popular pokemon out there is also a choice in the game.Its attacks often display its electric personality.Because Pikachu is lightweight and small, it is amazing fast,which can confuse its enemies. But it can also be knocked off the course easily.
~~Bowser~~
Bowser has made numerous attempts at conquering Mushroom Kingdom,but he has always failed to his arch enemy Mario. Bowser's strong attacks batter his opponents mercilessly, often ending the fight within a minute.Bowser's massive body helps him stay on the course but it also makes him one of the slowest in the game.
~~Peach~~
Peach, he kind ruler of mushroom kingdom is also joins the game. She boasts incredible powers of leaping, and floating. Peach can also recover quickly if knocked off a platform.Peach's weight is almost nothing so one Big hit could send her flying off the course.To win with her you will need to fight a battle of attrition.
~~Yoshi~~
Yoshi the daring dino that is famous for his appetite and egg laying fights with the rest of the players.Yoshi can soar over everybody with his amazing jump.while he is on the ground he can stay in one spot easily and hold his ground.This ability makes it difficult to knock him off.
~~Donkey Kong~~
The banana eating Donkey Kong should not be taken lightly when he is on the battlefield.this massive monkey shows his ground pounding,arm flailing ability while fighting.Since Donkey Kong is so big, i multiplayer battles everyone seems to gang up on him, but if you know his special attacks you can knock them all off at once.
~~Captain Falcon~~
Captian Falcon is also a bounty hunter when he is not with his speedy Blue Falcon.His attacks take a while to develop But they are very affective wen they are in use. If you are the kind of guy who loves fist-flying action, you cant go wrong with Captian Falcon.
~~Fox~~
When Fox McCloud isn't battling the creatures of Dinosuar Planet or flying his Airwig, he's right here fighting with his friends and foes.Even though Fox doesn't have much power he has lightning speed which makes up for it.
~~Ness~~
A kid from the Onett suburbs that would rather investigate aliens then hang out at the mall.Ness has powerful psychic powers that could blow the enemy off the course in one hit.If you can get the hang off these psychic powers they will propel you to victory.
~~Ice Climbers~~
Ice Climbers Popo and Nana are two frosty friends that know the value of teamwork.Each of themhave a huge mallet to smash opponents of the course. If one of them is knocked off you still have a chance to win with the other one but victory would be a long shot.
~~Kirby~~
The amazing pink puffball Kirby is also in Super Smash Bros. Melee.Kirby's lightweight allows him to jump or run out of they way of opponents attacks.Also when Kirby is hit off the course he can easily float all the way back by rapidly pushing x.
~~Samus~~
Samus Aran is one tough bounty hunter when using her Chozo Power Suit.One of her weapons is a grappling beam used to pull her enemies closer so she can attack them.
~~Zelda~~
Once a helpless little princess, but now Zelda has become and amazing fighter.Even though Zelda is not very fast she does have many magical tricks she can pull off.Her best one is transforming into Sheik, a whole new character.
~~Sheik~~
The only way to have Sheik in the battle is by selecting Zelda then transforming.Sheik is almost the opposite of Zelda she is much faster but her punches and kick are a bit weaker then Zelda's magical attacks.
~~Link~~
For more then a decade the sword slashing, arrow throwing hero of Hyrule Temple has ruled.Because Link has so many weapons to use,he can't run or jump very fast. ~~Jigglypuff~~
Another pokemon that is very lightweight and it also has an incredible jumping ability is in Super Smash Bros. Melee.Jigglypuff is the easiest chaacter to unlock in the game,but once you unlock him you need to fight them in order to use him. ~~Mewtwo~~
A pokemon that brings powerful psychic abilities to the pokemon world. Mewtwo has great defensive abilities but he has little traction on the battlefield.Mewtwo will appear after 20 hours of playing or 700 Vs. made matches.
~~Luigi~~
Luigi returns to Super Smash Bros. With every move he had in the last game but with a few more.He will appear after you beat adventure mode with two seconds left in the seconds column,or play 800 Vs. matches.
~~Marth~~
Marth is an excellent swordsman from Japan.He is known for his lighting fast moves.You can get Marth after using the original 14 characters in Vs. mode or by playing 400 Vs. mode matches.
~~Mr. Game & Watch~~
This Character is equipped with many unique weapons and moves.If you clear classic and adventure mode with all the characters you will be able to enjoy Mr. Game & Watch.
~~Dr. Mario~~
The Disease fighting Dr. Mario enters the game with many similar attacks as Mario.But they are slightly more damaging.You can get this character by completing a 1-player Regular Match with Mario or by player Vs. Mode more then 100 times.
~~Ganondorf~~
Ganondorf, the villian from The Legend of Zelda also appears in Super Smash Bros. Melee.He is also one of the slowest in the game but you can get him by completing Event Match 29.
~~ Young Link~~
Young Link has the same fighting style but with more speed and less power.You can get him by beating classic or Adventure mode with ten different people. ~~Falco~~
Falco can execute punch and kick combos with amazing speed.You must beat the 100 Man Melee or play 300 Vs. Mode Matches.
~~Pichu~~
Very similar two Pikachu but with much more speed and less power.Clear Event Match 37 or play Vs. Mode more then 200 times.
~~Roy~~
Another Japanese Swordsman also enters the game with spectacular sword slashes to knock the enemy off of the course. This incredible swordsman will join you after beating a regular match mode with Marth.
Every one of these fantastic characters have four special attacks by using b and pushing the joystick in various directions
1-Player Mode
In one player mode there are four types of Melee's
1.Normal Melee- here you battle one other person
2.Team Melee- here you and one other computer player will fight two other computer players
3.Bonus Stage- here you will break targets, catch trophies, and earn coins
4.Giant Melee- here you will battle a huge computer player with 2 other computers on your team
5. Multi-Man Melee- here you will battle ten slightly weak computer players
There are to types of 1-player modes
Classic and Adventure
In classic you battle random people with assorted types of Melee's
In Adventure you battle the same exact people every time you play.
Event Match
Also in 1-player mode there are 51 event matches you must beat. In some of these matches if you win you will get a new player to use.
Home run derby
here you can select a player and then you have ten seconds to damage the bag, then hit it off the platform.
Every player has a different move the can use to keep the bag on the platform.
10 Man Melee
This Melee should take only a few seconds to do. You can select a player and they you have to fight 10 computers that don't really put up a good fight.
100 Man Melee
This is the exact same thing as the 10 Man Melee but it is harder because there are 90 more people to defeat.
3 Minute Melee
You will have three minutes to defeat as many people as you can without being knocked off the stage.
15 Minute Melee
Here you have 15 minutes to defeat as many people as you can with out getting knocked off.
Endless Melee
This Melee will never end.So how long can you hold out without getting knocked off lets see if you can have the record.
Cruel Melee
Here the players will have you a hard time and you may be off the screen within seconds.
You may also have a tournament with 4,8,16,32,or 64 different players. Up to four different players can play in a Tournament Melee
Special Melee
Camera- Here you can shoot your own pictures to save
Stamina- Start battling four players with 150 damage and keep fighting until player are down to 0 damage.
Super Sudden Death- Here each player starts with 300% damage.Only one hit could knock you or the other player off the screen.
Giant Melee- Battle giant players, you will need a giant blow to knock them off.
Tiny Melee- Here everyone will be mini but you can still pick up regular sized items
Invisible Melee- Everybody will be invisible for the whole match. You can still see thier shape when they move and you can see the items they pick up.
Fixed-Camera- The camera picture of the whole course will not change.If camera movements confuse you,this is the mode you need,but if you are a small character they may be hard to see.
Single button mode- You can only use A and the joystick here, no special moves.This is a good If you are a beginner.
Lighting Melee- All of the players move with lighting speed movement and attacks.
Slo-mo Melee- Everybody will slow down here.The moves get slower and so doesnt the movement.
Items
There are 36 items that can fall from the sky at all times some are container full of items such as a barrel or a box.Some are just for hitting like a hammer, umbrella, wand, bombs, guns, and many more.Pokeballs are also items that fall from the sky pokemon scuh as Charizard, Blastoise, and Snorlax.These pokemon will attack everybody that is not on the team of the person who threw it.
Stages
There are 29 different stages to unlock or ones that are already unlocked.They come from different games or they are just made up.
Controls
The controls are extreamly good.To do a move you just have to push b or a and aim the joy stick in different ways.Thats also what makes this game so much better it doesnt take an hour to figure out how to do on move for a player
Sound effects
The sounds are great they have a separate sound for every move.If you have a sword you can hear the swish of it through the air and for every course they have song.For the DK course they have a song "DK donkey kong donkey kong id here" it goes something like that.
This is one of Nintendo's best games, it has outstanding graphics that everyone will notice.Every character isn't blurry everything is perfectly clear because of the great job Nintendo did.It has so many different special games, characters, trophies, items, and stages to pick. Everyone will love it, if your looking for a game this is definately it.
